A Glimpse of my thought process: Angel and Procrastination

“What is your name?”

“My name is Procrastination”

“What are you doing here?”

“I am preventing her from any failure, disappointment, heartbreak, and off course any unnecessary pain”

Angel is entering the chat

“That’s not true! Procrastination has not her best interest at heart”

“Why do you think so?”

“People do not often realise that something never comes from nothing. If she doesn’t go through that failure, doesn’t endure that disappointment, and overcome that heartbreak… there will be no success, no satisfaction, and no happiness. It is on her own best interest to experience everything that life can offer. At the end of the day, that’s the meaning of life”

“Why can’t we get to success and satisfaction without failure and disappointment?”

“Because without the other, there will be no meaning of success and failure... Perhaps Procrastination was right at one thing… some failures and some successes are unnecessary. But believe me, you never know what will be the outcome is if you don’t spend any effort to find out. People achieve great and unexpected things because they try. That’s the most important thing in life: that she tries and never give up”

“You are surely talking a lot, Angel!”

“Sure! That’s my gift from God… I am preaching all the souls, giving them hopes, and save them from the dark places. Because our gift is to think and to be enlighten. As long as she can think for herself, let use that power and I will be always with her”
